Sunflower in Austin

Great food. Horrible service. I was one of two parties in the place and the women “waiting” tables sat the time and never came back to check, take another beverage order (was intent on having a beer). When finished I had to seek them out to ask for my check and paid at the register. When I went to pay with my card the woman pitched a fit because it was below the minimum. Well, duh, if you had bothered to wait on me the amount would have been higher. So rude. So unprofessional. Oftentimes they will bring out your appetizer after your main course. Unreal.

The food here was good. Pork was a little tough but tasty. They didn't have the Thai basil that usually comes with Vietnamese food but it was okOverall the food was ok.

Went in for lunch. Greeted by our waitress who was smiling and helpful to us - new to Vietnamese cuisine. Food was really good at what seemed to us as very modest prices and servings large enough for 2 meals. When leaving, it seemed the whole family was there waiving goodbye. Definitely going to go back.
